We invite you to this countryside home nestled off Elk Lake Rd on a three-acre private setting. This 1905 historic farmhouse is located 1.4 miles out of the village of Elk Rapids, 10 minutes to the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival, and 20 minutes to Traverse City. This home is the perfect getaway if you enjoy peace and quiet, yet close proximity to some of Northern Michigan’s finest restaurants, shops, beaches and lakes. Rent a boat only a mile away and enjoy a cruise through Elk Lake into the third most beautiful lake in the world! Don’t forget to stop at the Torch Lake Sand Bar!
Outside of this home, you can enjoy a grilled dinner on a private patio surrounded by a beautiful rock garden, a blazing bonfire and a morning coffee swinging on the porch swing. Inside, you will find a completely remodeled home with modern amenities. The lower level has a bedroom with one queen size bed with an attached private bathroom (Handicapped accessible shower). The upper level has three bedrooms and sleeps six comfortably. The master suite features a king size bed with a brand new kings down mattress, and a private master bath with a walk in shower, and a jetted whirlpool Jacuzzi tub. The master has beautiful views of the yard and trees. The upstairs also shares two more bedrooms and a bathroom (shower, but the claw foot tub currently does not work). These bedrooms each sleep two in a comfortable queen size bed. This home also features a private bedroom (king bed) and a bathroom (shower) above the garage. Additional amenities include brand new kitchen appliances, new washer/dryer, beverage cooler, ice maker, Wi-Fi, four flat screen TV’s, window air conditioners, all new linens and towels, outside grill.
Rates and Availability:. Stay at this home June 14-18, June 26-July 6, and August 15-Sept 4 for $8000/week (one week minimum). $1000 refundable security deposit and cleaning fee of $450 (Mid stay/weekly cleanings available upon request and at owners expense.
